Our partner agency, Immediate Media, asked us to create a series of viral videos to promote Cineworld’s Mega Movies season.
The brief was to create seven films that would tie in with seven blockbuster cinema releases.
Immediate Media developed the central theme of our hero character being on a boring family caravan holiday, we then created scenarios that would mirror the scenes in the movies. From bad fancy dress costumes to rambling in the rain, the short sequences served as a humorous intro into the movie trailers that followed. Hurricane did the casting, filming, editing and motion graphics.
The videos were promoted on the Cineworld Facebook page and have racked up over 125,000 views in total. They served as a great marketing tool for the cinema chain and resulted in increased ticket sales and some great feedback from their social followers.
